I received an email today from some sports monitor that i never subscribed. Apparently the services gave out the email. According to their monitoring, drbob was one of the worst ("most disappointing") service tipster of 2007. They also talked about a rumor where one of his client committed suicide? Did it really happy???? Here is a copy of the email, did anyone else get it other than me?

Some tipsters and services who allow us to monitor them release their email list to us to keep the clients updated with our news. If you have not inquired or subscribed to any tipsters, you or someone probably subscribed your email address via our blog page. This is once in a year newsletter that gets dispatched at the end of each year. You will never receive any other emails from us this year. If your email address got on our list by error, reply to this email with a subject "unsubscribe." Due to the numerous email addresses in our list, we do not provide email customer support or replies to any of your emails.

After this year's surveillance of the tipsters/services the reviews are complete and the verdicts are in. Keep in mind that over 95% of the sports handicapping services are scams--full of lies and fake records. The tipsters/services that we monitor are the non scammers who run an honest service with real records.

2007's Top 3 disappointing tipster/services

DrBob Website: Drbobsports.com
Bob, a consistent 54% ATS only capper crumbled under pressure. Bob's 2007 was so worse that there were rumors of a client committing suicide because of his picks. There were other news where his picks were blamed for divorces, lost houses and so on. Bob was such a good handicapper in the past but his picks became almost useless in 2006 as books adjusted the spread with in seconds after he released his picks--some clients still won some of their bets with Good shopped lines. But this year bobs picks were so bad that even if the books adjusted the points in favor of him, he still would have had a horrible year. His plays are available in most public forums for free because his angry clients always make it available for everyone. What to do in 2008: Don't bet. Don't Fade either. Watch for 2 months, if he turns things around start betting with small amount and go with the flow.

Betting Resource Website: Bettingresource.comThis young service that started sometime towards the end of 2005 had extreme success in 2006. They are also monitored and approved by bettingadvice.com's surveillance team and talkgold sports betting forum's monitoring team. Their approval rating by prominent sites like bettingadvice made them fairly popular. To make things worse for the bettors betting resource started a losing streak in September that never ended because of their irresponsible chasing of their losses. They also had internal problems in 2007 as they lost control of one of their prominent handicapper who decided to go on his own. What to do in 2008: There is hope for them in 2008 since they can put the past year behind. Looking at the results we can see their failure was mainly because of chasing. Watch for 2 weeks, if they keep the number of plays in check as promised and if results are positive start betting.

Larry Klaiman Website: None Tel: 1-900-584-5645 (Disconnected)
After creating a huge stir in a major forum with his 60% success rate and consistency for 6 months for 2006 he decided to start his own service via Pay Telephone Service. All his loyal followers from the forum gladly followed him but Larry's run on the forum never lasted. He finished the first 2 months for 2007 with about 30% success rate. The most disappointing news was when he announced that he is retiring from sports betting. What to do in 2008: If he comes back, watch for 2 months to see if his run in the forum was luck or skill. If results are good start betting.

2007's Best tipsters/services

Mr Martingale: Website: Mrmartingale.comMrMartingale was the most profitable tipster that we monitored for 2007. He raked in profit consistently using his plays of the day service where he bets on the top bet of each day. He also bets on another set of picks using his publicly criticized betting system which employs the martingale strategy. Shockingly (probably with some luck) he hold a perfect record even after 1000 bets and raked in over 700 units in profit. What to do in 2008: Plays of the Day service: Start immediately on his plays of the day service and bet large. Betting System Picks Service: Even though many criticize the martingale progression, it is worth a try here. After all, mr martingale is on a hot streak and sports betting you must always ride the hot streak. They way he is doing it, you can start with a small bankroll and still make enough profit.

Guru Tips: Website gurutips.co.nr
Guru was truly a guru in 2007, especially in soccer. With over 400 picks in his resume he is maintaining a 57% success rate and a good yield. He plays all sports but most of his bets are soccer bets, and he is real good in them. No one knows why this guy charges only peanuts for his service. 50Euros for 3 months makes him a must have service. He is also monitored at bettingadvice and has the approval from them. What do to in 2008: His consistent profit and cheap service is must have. Even if you don't like soccer, he is well worth the money. Get on board immediately.

Brain Betting: Website Brainbetting.com
This is a FREE site with 7 handicappers posting the predictions with analysis. The analysis are very informative and they finished the year in profit. The success rate of their picks are about 50% but their money management and good selection of odds have given them solid profit with about 5% yield for the year. This is a vastly growing site, so take advantage when it is still underrated and free! What to do in 2008: Read the analysis of the picks and make your own decision if you want to bet or not. Since they have 7 handicappers, there maybe too many plays so read and be selective.

Highrolller: Website highrollerplays.com
Highroller is a very new service that was started sometime in August. Normally we wouldn't include a service that we monitored for such short time in our review but there is an exception here. Highroller was a former tipster at bettingresource who parted ways with them. Bettingresource's downhill spiral started around the same time highroller left them and because of this we have to have him here. Since the start of his own service, he had ups and downs but he finished the year with profit and a yield of about 5.5% What to do in 2008: He has shown that he can recover from losing streaks and shown decent results worth considering him if you are not using him. Bet with medium and if the results are positive go up.
=======================================================

We monitored 17 services for the year 2007. Included in the review are only the one that made significant losses and significant profit. The reminders were about 50-50 with little loss or profit not worth the time at the moment. We will send another update in our next newsletter at the end of 2008.

Other Gambling Reviews and Awards:

Top Sportsbook in 2007: Pinnacle. Even though their operations changed rapidly due to the politics in united states, they still remain the best book.

This is OBVIOUSLY simply an online version of one of the largest scams ever, the Sports Betting Guide which would tout their own services (Sycamore, Blazer, etc.) as the best service, give a couple of well known services passing grades to appear legitimate and funnel unsuspecting gamblers to buy their own make believe services. I mean has anyone here ever even heard of these services that they are recommending? Didn't think so.

RUN, RUN like the wind away from these clowns.

Regardless if true or not, I have no compassion for a fool who'd off himself over gambling. If you're stupid enough to lose a home or whatever based on someone else's plays, (and, FWIW, they're no better than anyone elses) than it's one less moron on the planet IMO.

I have heard of all of them except the Guru guy. But I have to agree, you don't hear about them all the time (except Drbob).

Often unspoken services are the real deals while scamdicappers like Lang, Feist cappers and the numerous other touts market their plays every way possible to steal some newbie clients. When sports betters find good cappers, they don't usually talk about them to keep it as a secret.

If your theory is right, then we have to beleive that the email was composed by the martingale service. But I am not sure because there is a big difference in the level of of english between the martingale site and this email.
